Join us on Saturday November 4th, at 1pm, as we host a special public speaking workshop, presented by Susan Rogers.
We will discuss the three key types of content that should be included in any persuasive presentation– organizing your material, feeling more comfortable, and being perceived as credible. This is valuable information for candidates, individuals who might act as a surrogate for a candidate, anyone giving public testimony, or if you just want to be more comfortable in front of a group. Please come prepared to give a 3-minute speech and receive live feedback from the presenter and the group. Materials on how to prepare it will be sent out ahead of time.
Susan Rogers has a master’s degree in Speech Communications from UC Santa Barbara, and has taught speaking skills through UCSB, Santa Barbara City College, and Brooks Institute of Photography, and as a private workshop leader.
